CRUISES: The steamer Costa Favolosa launched in Venice

Costa Favolosa, the new Costa ship group, was officially launched in Venice on July 1. A four-day inaugural cruise was organized on the occasion of his initiation.

Passengers who boarded in Venice on July 1 were able to attend the dedication of the ship by the clergy of Venice and headed towards Trieste in the evening for the festivities associated with this event.

On July 2, the ceremony was held with great display in the port of Trieste, where various activities took place, including the gala dinner and the launching of the boat with a show in the Italian style. As a partner of Costa for over nine years, Guy Hugnin, president of Sky Flyers, was on board.

He said he was amazed by the new ship. He said that the ship is an incredible luxury and the theme of fairy tale is real and omnipresent on the Costa Favolosa. Costa Favolosa has 1508 cabins in total including 103 in the space Samsara, 594 with private balcony, 56 suites with private balconies and 12 suites Samsara in space and five restaurants two of which are payable booking: Club Favolosa and Samsara Restaurant, 13 bars, including the Cigar Lounge and the Coffee & Chocolate Bar, five Jacuzzis, four pools, two with retractable glass roof, one with a giant screen and a slide.

Samsara Spa occupies a space of 6000 m2 on two floors, with gym, spa, hydrotherapy pool room, spa treatments, sauna, Turkish bath, solarium UVA. Other facilities include a multi-sports field activities, a swimming pool on the deck equipped with a retractable glass roof and a giant screen, a theater built on three floors, a casino and a nightclub. Travelers can also enjoy the Grand Prix driving simulator, golf simulator and space PlayStation World.
